ADVISORY: 3:30 P.M. – Billingsley Road is shutdown in both directions between Maintenance Place and Dutton’s Bridge due to high water.
Vehicle in Water Rescue Call:
A driver on Billingsley Road near Maintenance Place in Bryans Road decided to drive through water traveling over the roadway. As fire units arrived from Bryans Road “good samaritans” were pulling the auto from just off the asphalt roadway.
We report over and over asking drivers NOT to drive through and/or over water traveling on our roadways. We have had a good amount of rainfall today, our typical roads will in all likelihood flood over the next few hours.. USE EXTREME CAUTION!!!
