CALIFORNIA, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motor vehicle crash this afternoon that has left multiple people injured.

At approximately 3:43 p.m. on February 20, first responders were called to the scene of the crash on Three Notch Road, in the area of Wildewood Boulevard, for reports that multiple patients had been injured and some were trapped.

Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles involved with no patients trapped. EMS crews would evaluate a total of six patients between the two vehicles.

First responders would call for a total of three ambulances to make potential transports to a nearby hospital. We do not have any specific details on any of the involved patients at this time.

All southbound through lanes are blocked on Three Notch Road as of 4:05 p.m.

This is a developing story. We will continue to provide additional details as they become available.

  1. If you are going to use a crossover instead of a lighted intersection, you gotta be a good judge of distance. Hope all recover. My condolences to the driver who was not a cause of the collision.
