At 12:13 am, on Wednesday, January 3, TFC Quade was patrolling Rt. 235 north of Pegg Road in Lexington Park. TFC Quade observed 1997 Green Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck exceeding the posted speed limit.
A routine traffic stop was initiated for the traffic violation. Contact was made with the driver, Andrew Miguel Melendez, 18, of California.
Further investigation revealed Mr. Melendez was in possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was issued a Criminal Citation and released at the scene.
