AT&T Wireless Customers Report Issues Connecting To 911

UPDATE – AT&T has confirmed that service has been fully restored to its wireless network after a widespread outage temporarily cut off connections for users across the United States for several hours. Impacted residents should now have the ability to connect to 911 for emergency needs.

LEONARDTOWN, Md. – St. Mary’s County Government’s Department of Emergency Services has received reports that AT&T customers and other cell service providers nationwide may be having difficulties connecting to 911.

Impacted service providers are actively working on this issue.
