After clinching its second straight Liberty Division playoff berth, on Friday, July 2, the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs continued the celebration and included the fans in a gala July 4th weekend of fun, sights, fireworks and thrills. Losing the Saturday and Sunday games did not dampen the spirits of the crowd or the team. After the final out on July 4, the Blue Crabs auctioned off the decorative patriotic uniforms and raised over $6,000 for the Civista Foundation.
