Tonight’s contest between the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and the Bridgeport Bluefish was postponed due to rain in the Southern Maryland area. The two teams will make up the contest with two seven-inning games tomorrow night beginning at 5:30 ET with gates opening at 5:00 ET.
Tickets for tonight’s game can be used for any other home game throughout the 2014 season at Regency Furniture Stadium.
Projected starters for Game 1 of the twinbill are lefty Brian Burres (0-0, 0.00) for the Blue Crabs and left-hander Hunter Jones (0-0, 0.00) for the Bluefish. For Game 2, Southern Maryland is slated to send RHP Brian Baker (0-0, 0.00) to the mound against Bridgeport RHP Kanekoa Texeira (0-0, 0.00).
