
UPDATE – 2/3/2025 – Suspect Arrested In Hollywood, MD Homicide After Body Found In Trashcan
HOLLYWOOD, Md. — Authorities in St. Mary’s County are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man who was reported missing last week.
On Monday, January 27, 2025, deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to an emergency medical services call in the 25000 block of Jones Wharf Road in Hollywood. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased individual.
The body was later identified as Matthew Skye Keister, 19, of Hollywood. Keister was reported missing on Jan. 26, and witnesses last saw him on Jan. 20.
His remains were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy. Officials did not immediately disclose a cause of death.
