PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On Nov. 11, at 10:30 a.m., American Legion Posts 85, 206, 220, and 274 will host an annual Veteran’s Day ceremony at the Veteran’s Green located on the Calvert County Circuit Court lawn. 

This annual event takes place to honor and thank all those who have served and continue to serve our country. Several local veterans, legion members and high school students will speak and participate in the various commemorative ceremonies. The national anthem will be sung by Calvert County American Legion Commanders Jay Bolles and Nathan Stevens. There will be wreath placements to honor fallen soldiers and a gun salute provided by all four American Legion rifle squads.

The public is encouraged to attend. In the event of inclement weather the service will be moved inside the courthouse, located at 175 Main St. in Prince Frederick.
