PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Southern Maryland job seekers will have the chance to meet more than 30 employers during the Calvert County Job & Internship Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the College of Southern Maryland’s Prince Frederick campus.

Organizers say the free event, hosted in Building B with parking available in Lot 5, will connect students, recent graduates, and community members with businesses offering full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities.

Confirmed employers span healthcare, construction, IT, public safety, banking, and government. Healthcare openings include registered nurses, medical assistants, phlebotomists, behavioral health technicians, and occupational therapists with organizations such as CalvertHealth, Avenues, and Personalized Therapy, LLC. Construction opportunities include civil designer and engineer roles with COA Barrett, as well as apprenticeships with IUOE Local 77 and Plumbers & Gasfitters Local 5.

Additional listings feature IT and professional positions with Amelex and Sabre Systems, banking roles at Shore United Bank, internships with Constellation Energy, and resource and support staff jobs at the College of Southern Maryland. Law enforcement agencies—including the Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s County sheriff’s offices, Maryland State Police, and DC Metropolitan Police—are hiring for deputy, correctional officer, and state trooper positions.

Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes, as some employers may conduct on-site interviews. A full directory of employers and open positions is available online at https://tccsmd.news/CalvertCoJob-INTEvntHotJobs_Oct8.
