PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – During the week of November 22 – November 28, deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,483 calls for service throughout the community.

Burglary: 21-67173
On November 28, 2021, Deputy Shoemaker responded to the 2100 block of German Chapel Road in Prince Frederick, MD for report of a burglary. The complainant advised sometime between Nov. 24 and Nov. 28, unknown suspect(s) kicked in a side door to the residence and opened/rummaged through multiple doors and dressers throughout the home. Nothing appears to have been taken. The estimated value of damaged property is $300.00.

Damaged Property: 21-66888
On November 27, 2021, Deputy Newton responded to the 300 block of Adelina Road in Prince Frederick, MD for report of a burglary. The complainant advised sometime between Nov. 24 and Nov. 27, unknown suspect(s) tampered with a barn door and made entry to a barn on the property. Nothing appears to have been stolen. The estimated value of damaged property is $500.00.

Theft: 21-65781
On November 22, 2021, Deputy Wilder responded to the 400 block of Clubhouse Drive in Lusby, MD for the report of vehicle tampering/theft. The complainant advised unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his wallet to include his driver’s license and credit cards along with ID badges for his employment. The value of stolen property is unknown at this time.

Theft: 21-65787
On November 22, 2021, Deputy Wilder responded to the 12700 block of Ponderosa Court in Lusby, MD for the report of vehicle tampering/theft. The complainants advised two unlocked vehicles parked outside their residence had been rummaged through and items were missing. The stolen items include a debit card, an EZ pass transponder and a FIXD engine diagnostic tool. The estimated value of stolen property is $100.00.

Theft: 21-66129
On November 23, 2021, Deputy Lee received report of a theft. The complainant advised her vehicle was parked outside a residence in the 12200 block of Saugaro Court in Lusby, MD and sometime between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, unknown suspect(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and stole car keys and an Apple iPhone. The total value of stolen property is $450.00.

Theft: 21-66154
On November 23, 2021, DFC Durner responded to 26 S. Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick, MD for report of a theft. The complainant advised sometime between Nov. 18 and Nov. 23, unknown suspect(s) stole a 1987 black heavy-duty utility trailer from the parking lot of the business. The value of stolen property is $7,000.00.

Theft: 21-66028
On November 23, 2021, DFC DeLeon received report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant advised on Nov. 22 at 7p.m., he parked his gray 2021 Cynergy enclosed trailer in the parking lot of the Dunkirk Walmart located at 10600 Town Center Blvd. Upon returning to pick up the trailer at 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 23, the trailer was no longer in the parking lot and reported missing. The estimated value of the stolen trailer was $6,500.00 Calvert Deputies recovered the stolen vehicle around 1 p.m. on Nov. 23 at the Park N Ride located at 3140 Ferry Landing Road, Dunkirk, MD. The trailer was not damaged and no items were missing.

Theft: 21-66322
On November 24, 2021, Deputy Aranda received report of a theft. The complainant advised sometime between October 9 and November 23, 2021, unknown suspect(s) stole the registration plate off a boat trailer parked at a residence on Mariner Court in Dunkirk, MD. The estimated value of stolen property is unknown at this time.


ARREST:

John Frank Partonen

On November 23, 2021, Deputy Lee responded to Safeway located at 80 W Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick, MD for report of trespassing. The complainant advised there was a male subject inside the store unable to stand on his own and appeared highly intoxicated. Contact was made with Joseph Frank Partonen, 58 of Huntingtown, MD, who had been previously issued a ‘No Trespassing Order’ for this location.

Partonen was detained and charged with Trespassing on Private Property.
