OWINGS, Md. – The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a theft from the area of Meadow Run Lane in Owings. The theft occurred on December 8, 2025, around 1 a.m.
The complainant stated unknown suspect(s) removed approximately 200 gallons of diesel fuel from several pickup trucks. A trailer on the property also had a lock broken and a box of unknown electronics removed.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark in color early 2000s Ford dually pickup truck with what appears to be fuel cannisters or toolboxes on the sides of the bed.
