WALDORF, Md.— On Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, a 60-year-old woman crashed her car into the glass storefront of Story Cannabis in Waldorf, shattering the entrance and prompting a brief evacuation.
The incident occurred around 1:48 p.m. at the dispensary on the 12300 block of Poons Market Place. Crews arrived to find a maroon Honda Accord partially inside the store’s lobby, with broken glass covering the sidewalk.
EMS evaluated the driver at the scene, but no injuries requiring hospitalization were reported. The business was cleared of customers and staff while firefighters confirmed the building sustained no significant structural damage beyond the glass frontage.
The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.

you should get to the bottom of that
this is the appropriate time to ree mind everybody that insurance will not cover your cannabis accidents + that if you have cannabis, you’re not supposed to drive afterwards.
