OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
Calvert County Dep. J. Norton conducted a traffic stop on April 2 at 1:15 a.m., in the area of Broomes Island Road at Hance Road in St. Leonard.
The driver and two passengers were found to be in possession of CDS paraphernalia. Matthew Donald Hooper, 18 and Gregory Adam Johnson, 19, both of Prince Frederick, were each charged with possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, a plastic baggy used to store cocaine.
A third occupant of the vehicle, a fourteen-year-old female, also of Prince Frederick, will be charged later on a youth report with the same offense.
