ST. LEONARD, Md. — The 46th Annual Celtic Festival is set to return on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum, located at 10515 Mackall Road, St. Leonard, Md. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, offering a full day of festivities for the whole family.
This year, the festival promises an array of cultural celebrations, including the sounds of internationally recognized Celtic bands, live Scottish and Irish country dance performances, and a variety of Celtic kids’ activities. Visitors can enjoy music, food and dance performances while exploring Clan Row, where over 50 clans and societies share information about Celtic heritage. The festival will also feature a Celtic marketplace, offering traditional foods and Celtic-inspired gifts.
For those interested in active participation, the festival will host all-day competitions, including pipers, drummers, pipe bands, Highland dancers, Highland athletics and even rugby games.
Admission:
- Pre-sale general admission: $25 (ages 13 and up)
- Gate-sale general admission: $30
- Children (6-12): $5
- Children (5 and under): Free with an adult ticket

- Parking: Please park in the designated general parking area.
- Payment: Only credit card payments will be accepted at the gate. No cash.
- Ticket Entry: All pre-purchased tickets will be scanned at the gate. No ticket, no entry.
- No Pets: Please leave pets at home during festival hours (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
- No Outside Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages are available for sale at multiple locations throughout the grounds, but outside alcohol is prohibited.
