Are you looking to make your resident’s commutes to schools in your jurisdiction easier? As the school year is about to begin, we would like to enlist your help in promoting SchoolPool! SchoolPool is a partnership between Commuter Connections and local schools. SchoolPool is a free, interactive, on-demand utility to help parents within the same neighborhoods connect with each other to form carpools, walking groups or biking groups to and from school. Like ridesharing, SchoolPool helps to promote reduced traffic congestion and overall expenses associated with minimized driving.
A free and easy service with voluntary membership, SchoolPool is a great option for any family looking to share the responsibilities of taking their kids to school. After registering with our online database, parents are matched based on similar schedules and routes. It is completely up to the parent if they would like to reach out or not, and all information remains confidential. Only basic contact information like phone numbers and e-mails will be shared with potential matches.
We are looking to add even more families to our program this year, and with your help, we can double participation!
