On May 19, at 12:49 a.m., Tpr. J. C. Hardesty responded to 35000 block of Golf Course Drive in Mechanicsville for a reported assault.
Upon arrival, contact was made with James Christopher Kilinski, 40 of Mechanicsville, who advised he was involved in an argument with a female complainant, 42 of Mechanicsville.
Information provided by Kilinski and the female confirmed that both individuals committed an assault. Due to extenuating circumstances, Kilinski was arrested on scene for Second-Degree Assault; the female, Tina Marchelle Harlan, 42 of Mechanicsville, will be charged on a Criminal Summons. Kilinski was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
