On Tuesday, May 6 at approximately 4:15 p.m., there was a report of an accident on Lower Marlboro Road near Mill Branch Road in Calvert County. Once units arrived on the scene, they found a single that had struck the bridge. The driver was removed by Huntingtown Fire Department and needed to be flown out to a Washington, DC-area hospital because of the injuries. There were no passengers in the vehicle. State Police Trooper helicopter did the transport to hospital. The road was open with one lane as emergency team removed the driver and until the tow truck was able to remove the car.
