No injuries reported in Accokeek furnace fire

UPDATE – An official from the PG County Fire Department says that the fire has been extinguished. Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire involved a furnace located in the home’s basement. No injuries resulted from the fire. 

ACCOKEEK, Md. – On March 28 at 10:30 a.m., the PG County Fire Department reported that they were responding to a  working house fire located on 16500 Boot Hill Drive in Accokeek.

A PG Fire Department official says that the fire is in the basement of a single family home. Use caution in the area.
