On Nov. 30, at 2:33 a.m., Cpl. M. W. Laney was on patrol driving in the area of the WaWa Convenience Store in the 23000 block of California when he observed a crowd gathering in front of the store.
As he pulled into the parking lot he observed several males including Sheldon Lyvonne Curtis, 28 of Great Mills and Anthony Lorenzo Curtis, 23 of Huntingtown, were engaged in a fight. Both subjects were detained and had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from their person.
Both subjects were placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where they were held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
