WALDORF, Md. — A Waldorf man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he was found trespassing at a business and in possession of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Dorvay Dante Bell, 45, of Waldorf, has been charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trespassing on private property, according to court documents.
The charges stem from an incident on March 20, 2026, at a business located on Crain Highway in Waldorf.
According to charging documents, deputies responded to a report of a trespassing in progress at the Dash In convenience store. Officers were advised that a man had just left the property and was walking north toward a nearby AT&T store.
An officer located a man matching the description in the parking lot and made contact. The individual was identified as Bell. During the encounter, Bell told officers he had just left the Dash In location.
Investigators learned Bell had previously been issued a notice banning him indefinitely from the same Dash In location, making his presence on the property a violation.
Bell was placed under arrest for trespassing. During a search, deputies located a small white rock-like substance suspected to be cocaine in his jacket pocket. Officers also recovered a glass smoking device with apparent cocaine residue and a metal scouring pad, commonly used as a filter in drug paraphernalia.
A field test later confirmed the substance tested positive for cocaine, a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance.
Bell was transported to the Charles County Detention Center and later released on his own recognizance.
A trial is scheduled for May 13, 2026, in Charles County District Court.
