The Mechanicsville Veteran’s Home had a superhero-themed prom and invited Foundation 4 Heroes to attend. It was truly an exciting offer to spend some time with our nation’s greatest heroes. Captain America, Spiderman and Thor led the way as F4H brought some folks to the dance floor and had some laughs.
Everyone had a blast. The Foundation donated 4 new TVs for the veterans and a case of American Flag Polar Bear insulated sports bottles.
After helping with the coronation of the King and Queen for the evening, it was then F4Heroes met a WWII Veteran who happens to be 100 years old.
It is amazing how well he is doing; I know I feel worse at 49. Anyway Foundation 4 Heroes is asking the public for community support to help us bring a busload of WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War Veterans to a September Washington Nationals game.
The Nationals organization has agreed to have these brave men and women honored on the field and we are hoping that donations will allow us to buy each of them jerseys, hats, food and drinks, and more.
Whatever they want. They have sacrificed so much for us. If you would like to help, visit Foundation 4 Heroes on facebook to make a donation or make checks out to Foundation 4 Heroes and mail that to 23127 Three Notch Road Suite 203, California, MD 20619.
All sponsors will be mentioned on social media and online print. Thank you for your support of these true superheroes.
