Executed A Search and Seizure

On March 3, after an extensive narcotic investigation, members of the Calvert Investigative Team-Narcotics Unit, (a combined narcotics unit including officers from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police) executed a search and seizure warrant at 900 Pat Lane, Huntingtown.

The target of the search warrant was 20 year old Adam Foster from Huntingtown. Foster was arrested at the scene and charged with possession with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS and possession of a handgun.  Foster was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for conspiracy to commit an assault.

Narcotics officers recovered 1 kilo of cocaine hydrochloride, $3192 in US currency, and a loaded handgun.  The value of the cocaine if sold by the gram is estimated to be $100,000.  Foster is being held at the Calvert County Detention Center awaiting a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
