COBB ISLAND, Md. – Yesterday evening a father and son were reportedly missing after going out in the Potomac River from Swan Point.
The child was found deceased last night.
Search teams continued this morning and located the father, deceased.

Why were they swimming to the boat?
Very very sad. I saw the lights and watched the search and rescue last night and this AM from across the waters. I cannot imagine the grief of the family members whom were saved. They were in my prayers. 🙏🏼

Life jacket? What’s that, besides a regulation, a good idea, and required equipment and use for under 16? It’s sad for sure, but could have, and should have been prevented.
