LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A group of Southern Maryland fathers celebrated a milestone last Wednesday as the first cohort to graduate from Fatherhood 101, a program hosted by Care Net Pregnancy Center of Southern Maryland. The class is part of a broader effort to equip both mothers and fathers with the tools and knowledge needed for successful parenting.

Graduates were recognized during a ceremony attended by mentors Deacon Ronnie Chavez and Josh Wagner, known as “Dadvocates,” along with representatives from AIM and the Knights of Columbus. Organizers praised the men for their commitment to personal growth and for investing in their roles as engaged and supportive fathers.
