PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — First Watch opened in Prince Frederick on Monday, Dec. 8, bringing the highly anticipated new breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot to Calvert County.
Located at 461 N. Solomons Island Road, First Watch brings a “chef-inspired menu” to the new Armory Square shopping center, which is quickly filling up with exciting new places to shop and dine in Prince Frederick.
To celebrate the opening, First Watch is offering a free cup of coffee with each ordered meal to dine-in customers who visit from Monday, Dec. 8, through Friday, Dec. 12.
The 3,800-square-foot space seats over 170 people and features a covered patio and bar. First Watch is well-known in Maryland for its creative menu and made-to-order food. Popular dishes include Avocado Toast, Farmhouse Hash, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and its signature Million Dollar Bacon. Fans of First Watch can find these items and more at the new Prince Frederick location.
Calvert County residents were happy to have this option in the community. Attendees of the Friends and Family event over the weekend and opening day guests all said the food was delicious and that First Watch was their go-to brunch spot.
First Watch is best known for its food and serves a rotating, seasonal menu that changes five times a year to honor local flavors. The Prince Frederick location will begin its seasonal menu in 2026. First Watch also donates a portion of the proceeds from each kids’ meal served to local organizations and charities to maximize its community impact.
First Watch in Prince Frederick is open 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily for pickup, delivery, and dine-in service. Visit firstwatch.com to place an online order. The restaurant is also hiring; interested applicants can apply online.
