ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Maryland Governor Larry Hogan[R] recently posted on Facebook his congratulations for the newest class of Maryland State Police Officers. Hogan attended the in-person ceremony for the 152nd class.

His statement reads:

“After an unprecedented and incredibly difficult year and a half, I was pleased and grateful to be among so many of Maryland’s finest and their families to congratulate the 46 newest members of the Maryland State Police.

I want every single member of Class 152 to know—especially in today’s environment when too often our law enforcement officers are unfairly criticized and don’t get the recognition and appreciation that they deserve—that they have and will always have the full support of their governor.

I also want to thank MSP for presenting me with a special 100th anniversary commemorative badge. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful that I have the honor to be your commander in chief.”
