ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Maryland Governor Larry Hogan[R] recently posted on Facebook his congratulations for the newest class of Maryland State Police Officers. Hogan attended the in-person ceremony for the 152nd class.

His statement reads:

“After an unprecedented and incredibly difficult year and a half, I was pleased and grateful to be among so many of Maryland’s finest and their families to congratulate the 46 newest members of the Maryland State Police.

I want every single member of Class 152 to knowโ€”especially in todayโ€™s environment when too often our law enforcement officers are unfairly criticized and donโ€™t get the recognition and appreciation that they deserveโ€”that they have and will always have the full support of their governor.

I also want to thank MSP for presenting me with a special 100th anniversary commemorative badge. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful that I have the honor to be your commander in chief.”
