GREAT MILLS, Md. โ€” Emergency units are responding to a high-mechanism motor vehicle crash involving a head-on collision between two vehicles at the intersection of Old Great Mills Road and Great Mills Road. St. Mary’s County Fire & EMS units were dispatched around 12:40 p.m. Saturday afternoon to address the Great Mills head-on collision.

According to dispatch, the crash involved two vehicles colliding head-on at the intersection. A high-mechanism designation indicates significant forces were involved in the collision, typically suggesting serious impact and potential for severe injuries.
