
GREAT MILLS, Md. – Following the story of Percy Jackson, Great Mills High School’s Lighthouse Productions presents their spring musical, Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief.
Premiering April 12, 2024, at 7 p.m., Lighthouse Productions will take you on a journey throughout Percy Jackson’s adventure to find Zeus’ lightning bolt to prevent the Greek Gods from going to war.
Adapted from Rick Riordan’s novel series, Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief has taken countless people on adventures through Greek mythology in the 21st century.
Percy Jackson is a 12-year-old boy who recently found out he is a demigod and that his father is the god of the sea, Poseidon. When he winds up at Camp Half-Blood, he is met with several trials, including having to go on a quest to find Zeus’ missing lightning bolt.
Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief is appropriate for all ages and has a run time of approximately 2 hours with a fifteen-minute intermission between acts. If you are looking for a fun family night out, Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief will be everything you dreamed of and more!
