Waldorf, MD – State authorities reported that a dumpster fire outside a Charles County business was deliberately set. According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the incident occurred Tuesday, April 16 around 10:17 p.m. on Federal Square in Waldorf. The damage was discovered the next day. There was no fire department response. Damage is estimated at $500.

“The fire, which was contained to the dumpster, was intentionally set by two unknown individuals,” a deputy fire marshal reported.
