On Dec. 5, Cory Lee Miller, 21 of Great Mills, was arrested for a list of charges after recovering from surgery at St. Maryโ€™s Hospital.

According to Deputy Kevin Meyerโ€™s burglary investigation; Miller forcibly entered the undisclosed victimโ€™s home by ripping off a screen door and punching through two windows.

Once inside, Miller, who is familiar to the victim, struck the victim several times before fleeing the scene.

Cpl. Shoemaker located Miller in a Lexington Park neighborhood bleeding heavily from both arms.

He was immediately transported to St. Maryโ€™s hospital where his injuries required surgery.

A warrant was obtained and served upon his release. Miller was charged with Burglary First Degree, Property Destruction over $500.00 and Assault Second Degree.

An additional charge of trespass was added as just days prior to this incident Miller was in the same apartment complex and was served a notice not to trespass.
