Terell Dreshawn Greene

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Terell Dreshawn Greene, 25, of Lexington Park, was arrested on Oct. 22, 2025, for alleged violation of a protective order and second-degree assault, according to police and court documents.

Police responded to a reported domestic assault involving Greene and a victim during a child custody exchange. According to court records, the victim stated that during the exchange she did not feel comfortable leaving the child in Greene’s custody. She told police that Greene allegedly spat in her face during an argument and made threats to shoot and kill her.

According to court documents, the victim currently has an active protective order against Greene that remains in effect until March 2026.

A witness reportedly recorded part of the altercation. Police documents indicate that the recording, as described by investigators, shows the victim throwing an object from her vehicle toward Greene’s vehicle. Greene is allegedly seen retrieving the item, identified by police as a pocketknife, and throwing it back into the victim’s car.

Court records show that Greene’s trial is scheduled for Dec. 4, 2025.

Under Maryland law, second-degree assault carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or a $2,500 fine, while violation of a protective order carries a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine for a first offense.

  1. I’m not sure about something. The article states that the victim threw something at Greenes car and he retrieved it. It being a knife. Greene gets arrested for spitting and threats. What about the victim throwing the knife?
    What am I missing?
