LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A 30-year-old Lexington Park woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after her behavior allegedly sparked a 10-person brawl inside a townhouse on Friday, August 1, 2025.
According to the statement of probable cause, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance on Valley Estates Drive, where approximately 30 people were gathered in the parking lot. Deputies said the suspect, identified as Trinik Shatega King, exited an apartment and began “spitting and screaming through various areas of the parking lot,” and family members tried to restrain her.
Deputies reported that despite attempts to de-escalate the situation, the woman continued yelling. Charging documents state the conflict escalated when she entered a neighboring apartment unit, which “caused a large physical disturbance to erupt between approximately 10 people.” Deputies said she raised her fist in an effort to strike people inside the residence and had to be pulled outside.
After the fight was broken up, deputies took her into custody. Charging documents say she continued to scream and refused to get into the patrol vehicle, requiring deputies to physically place her inside.
She was charged with disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum penalty of up to 60 days in jail and a fine of up to $500. She was released the following day on a $1,000 unsecured personal bond, with a trial scheduled for Sept. 15, 2025.
