Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations and the St. Mary’s County Department of Social Services were notified of an allegation of suspected sexual abuse of a child which occurred in December 2009. A joint investigation was conducted which led to the arrest of Donald R. Millsaps, age 33, of Lexington Park, Maryland. Millsaps was charged with Child Sexual Abuse, Second Degree Sexual Offense and incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center under a $40,000 bond.
