Maryland State Police Prince Frederick Barraack Corporal West responded to the intersection of Rt. 231 and Rt. 4 on September 4th at 5:05 a.m. for a complaint about a vehicle sitting stationary on Rt. 231 and not proceeding forward on a green traffic signal.
The driver, Mario Puzo Le, 32 of Huntingtown, appeared to be confused and disoriented. The Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were performed with unsatisfactory results. Le was arrested for DUI.
A secondary search revealed Xanax for which Le did not have a prescription. He was additionally charged with possession of CDS and drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
