During a six month investigation, members of the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations conducted many hours of surveillance on a residence in the Avenue area of St. Mary’s County. Based on the information and surveillance, two search and seizure warrants were obtained.
On December 15 members of the BCI Narcotics Unit conducted surveillance on the residence. At 3 p.m., with the assistance of the St. Mary’s County Emergency Services Team, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the two search and seizure warrants were executed.
The following items were seized:
Marijuana 32.2 grams
Crack Cocaine 4 grams
Powder Cocaine 1.4 grams
$2,504.00 in U.S. Currency
No arrests were made at the scene. A review with the St. Mary’s County States Attorney’s Office will be conducted and charges are pending.
