Maryland Flags to be Flown at Half Staff

Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the Maryland State Flag remain at half staff until sunset on Wednesday, January 26, 2011.

This is in memory of Sargent Shriver, the founding director of the Peace Corps and a lifelong public servant. This action is taken under the Protocol for the United States and Maryland State Flag.
