At 12:10 am on Saturday, April 29, TFC T. Quade and DFC Smolarsky, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the 18000 block of Point Lookout Road, Lexington Park, for a reported violation of a protective order.
Investigation revealed that there was a current protective order against Walter Jerome Ford Sr., 41, of Park Hall. He was to have no contact with the woman.
The woman advised that Mr. Ford had entered her residence and asked for money. Fearing for her safety, she ran next door and called 911.
Ford was found standing in front of the victim’s residence on arrival of the police. He was arrested and charged with Failure to Obey a Court Order. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
