WALDORF, Md. — Mission BBQ in Waldorf is honoring first responders through its Home Town Hero “Red Cup Campaign,” now underway through Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025. Proceeds from the purchase of the limited-edition red cups will directly benefit Charles County’s volunteer fire and emergency medical services.
“Mission BBQ of Waldorf, Maryland, is hosting their Home Town Hero ‘Red Cup Campaign’ to support the Fire/EMS service in our county,” said Charles County Volunteer Fire and Emergency Medical Services. “This wonderful event will end on Sept. 11, 2025, where proceeds from the purchase of the cups will go directly to your volunteer fire service. We thank you in advance for your support.”
The reusable American Hero Cup is available for $4.99, with refills offered for just 99 cents. Each purchase supports volunteer fire and EMS personnel in the county where the location is based. The red cup features bold “Hometown Heroes” lettering and a commemorative “9/11 Never Forget” design, highlighting Mission BBQ’s continued commitment to honoring first responders and military service members.
This campaign is part of Mission BBQ’s broader commitment to those who serve. Founded on Sept. 11, 2011, the company was created as a tribute to the heroes who protect and serve our communities and country. From its patriotic-themed dining rooms to daily salutes to the flag, Mission BBQ continues to give back through local partnerships and campaigns like this one.
