BOWIE, Md. — On August 7, 2024, at approximately 9:31 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 3400 block of Enterprise Road in Bowie.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a vehicle that had veered off the roadway, crashed through a fence, and ended up in a pond.
The vehicle was nearly completely submerged. Fortunately, the driver, an adult female, and a dog were able to escape without injury. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
