Trivia
Contrary to popular belief, Adolf Hitler never issued a halt order prior to the evacuation from Dunkirk. The order was actually issued by Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt, commander of Army Group A, and General Günther von Kluge, commander of the Fourth Army, at the request of the tank unit commander General Paul von Kleist, who had lost 50% of his armored forces and needed time to regroup. Hitler only sanctioned the order.

This is another masterpiece from Christopher Nolan. Brilliant acting by Tom, Mark, Fionn, and Harry. Amazing war scenes. When I saw the movie, I could actually feel the atmosphere of the world war. The film is directed and presented perfectly by the perfectionist Christopher Nolan. I will watch this movie again and again. That’s how much I liked it. This movie is definitely in my top 5 favorite movies.
