New Asian Fusion Restaurant Domoishi Opens In Lexington Park

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – In August 2024, Lexington Park welcomed Domoishi, an Asian fusion restaurant offering a wide variety of dishes inspired by different East Asian cultures. The menu features items such as poke bowls and ramen from Japanese cuisine, Korean-style wings, Taiwanese bubble/boba tea, and more general fare like rice bowls.

Domoishi—whose name combines the Japanese words for “thank you” (domo) and “delicious” (oishi)—is a growing restaurant chain primarily based in Virginia. The new location in Lexington Park is one of only two in Maryland.

In an interview with The BayNet, the manager of the new store said Lexington Park was chosen for its potential in a market generally lacking an Asian fusion menu. While the area has several restaurants offering Chinese, Chinese-American, Vietnamese, and Japanese food, Domoishi is one of the few establishments in the Lexington Park/California area serving popular East Asian menu items such as ramen noodles and bubble/boba tea.

The manager also noted that the store’s most popular menu items are the Amber Milk Boba Tea and ramen noodles. She added that her personal favorite dish is the Udon Beef Noodles.

Domoishi is located at 22650 Three Notch Rd A, Lexington Park, MD.
