Step 3: Recruit needed support
As a job seeker, it is important to remember you are already connected to previous bosses, colleagues, business owners, etc. This is the network of people who can help and they should be contacted as a resource for finding new employment.

Step away from the shadows of the computer screen and get out so people can meet you. Look for opportunities to mingle and find out what is happening in your industry. Starting by attending industry events, alumni mixers, meet-ups, library events, and holiday gatherings. Take the next week to connect with family members and friends about your new career goals.

Step 5: Apply for jobs
Look on all the major job announcement websites. Donโ€™t forget to check specific organizations that are linked to your industry. Check out company job announcement pages on the main company webpage. Research local free job resources in your local community and check their bulletin boards regularly.
