ANNAPOLIS, Md.  – NFIB announced that its Maryland political action committee had endorsed 16 additional candidates running in state House of Delegates and Senate races in 2018 (see list below). They join 45 other candidates who already received an NFIB PAC endorsement in June.

“These candidates know what it takes to create jobs, and they understand the challenges that small-business owners face in Maryland. They are committed to making this state a better place to raise a family and own a business,” said Tim Goodrich, executive director of NFIB’s state government relations.

NFIB is the leading small-business association in the nation with hundreds of members across Maryland representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsements come from the NFIB MD PAC, the association’s state political action committee, and are based on voting records or surveys of candidates on small business issues and member input.

Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for NFIB MD PAC-endorsed candidates this year in the General Election.
