Dep. Michael A. Jones responded to Calvert Street in Port Republic on April 30 and spoke with a woman who advised that an unknown suspect(s) poured green paint on two vehicles in her driveway. The paint was easily washed off and no permanent damage was observed.
At about 1 a.m. on the morning of May 5, a victim on Calvert Street in Port Republic saw a suspicious person standing at the edge of their driveway. The suspect left the area after hearing dogs barking.
Dep. Scott Brown responded and discovered blue paint splashed across the windshield and hood of the victim’s car. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $500.00.
