CALLAWAY, Md. — One person was hospitalized Tuesday, June 24, 2025, following a two-vehicle crash involving a Toyota RAV4 and a Ford Edge at a busy intersection in southern St. Mary’s County.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 4:38 p.m. to Point Lookout Road near Piney Point Road, where the two sport utility vehicles had collided.
A passenger in the blue Ford Edge was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
Maryland State Police from the Leonardtown Barrack are investigating the cause of the crash.
