Lexington Park, MD – A pedestrian was struck by a passenger vehicle and seriously injured early Saturday evening, Dec. 22 in Lexington Park, authorities in St. Mary’s County reported. The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. at Three Notch Road and Cedar lane. The roadway was shut down for about an hour as crews stabilized the injured pedestrian, who was subsequently flown to a regional trauma center. Police are investigating the incident and a report is pending.
