At 6:08 p.m. Nov. 20, Tpr. M. Grimes of the Leonardtown barrack responded to Winding Way, Lexington Park for a reported out of control juvenile.

The victim told police that the 13-year-old male became upset because he was not allowed to have a dog.ย The juvenile then threw several books, striking the victim.

When the officer attempted to arrest the juvenile for assault he began to yell and threw a fit. He was placed in handcuffs, transported to the Leonardtown Barrack and charged with assault and resisting arrest.

He was released into the custody of his father pending disposition by Juvenile Authorities.
