The Prince Georgeโ€™s County Police Departmentโ€™s Robbery Unit is seeking the publicโ€™s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection with the robbery of the SunTrust Bank in Upper Marlboro, Maryland yesterday.

On January 10, 2012, at approximately 11:24 a.m., the suspect walked into the SunTrust Bank located in the 5700 block of Crain Highway and waited in line while posing as a customer.ย  The suspect then approached the teller window and passed a note stating that he had a bomb and was demanding money.ย  The bank teller, in fear, complied with the suspectsโ€™ demands and handed him an undisclosed amount of money at which time he ran out of the bank in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 37-40 years of age, around 5โ€™9โ€-5โ€™11โ€ tall, and weighing between 150-160lbs.ย  He was last seen wearing a black knit hat, dark sunglasses, a black leather coat, black pants, and black gloves.
