On January 8, 2011 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the Annapolis Mall for a report of an attempt abduction/sexual assault.
The initial investigation revealed that the victim was walking with friends at the Annapolis Mall near the parking garage when they were approached by the suspect. The suspect had the victim enter into his vehicle where she was sexually assaulted. The victim was able to exit the vehicle and immediately contacted the police department. An immediate search of the surrounding areas produced negative results.
The suspect is being described as a white male, approximately 20-25 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thinn build,short hair gelled backwards with an unshaven face and was wearing glasses.

seen wearing a black “North Face” jacket and dark pants operating a black 4-Door SUV (Unknown Model).The Criminal Investigation Division Sex Offense Unit is actively investigating this case and urges anyone with information to call Detective Jack Hartzel at (410) 222-3750
