St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office On View Arrests & Criminal Citations

On View Arrests:

Burglary- On November 1, 2019, Dep. Forbes responded to the 47900 block of Cedar Lane Road in Lexington Park, for the reported burglary. Investigation determined Sean Michael Vosburgh, age 18 of California, entered the victim’s garage and attempted to force his way into the victim’s residence. While the victim was holding the door attempting to stop Vosburgh from entering the home, Vosburgh began pushing the victim away from the door, attempting to enter the victim’s home. Vosburgh then fled the area when the victim advised law enforcement was being contacted. After a search of the area, Vosburgh was located and arrested. Vosburgh was charged with Burglary 3rd and 4th Degree, Rouge and Vagabond, and Trespassing: Private Property. CASE# 62668-19

Robbery- On August 8, 2019, deputies responded to the 21900 block of Chancellor’s Run Road in Great Mills, for the reported robbery. The victim advised officers an unknown male had robbed him and pointed a firearm at the victim during the robbery. A suspect was identified and on November 3, 2019, Dawayne Anthony Harvell, age 25 of Great Mills was located and arrested. At the time of Harvell’s arrest he was the respondent in an active court order. The petitioner/protected person was found at a residence with Harvell. Harvell was charged with Violate Protective Order, and also charged with Robbery, Armed Robbery, Assault 1st Degree and Theft from the robbery that occurred in August. Arrest handled by Dep. Assault- On November 4, 2019, Dep. Rycyzyn responded to the 47200 block of Thurman Davis Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Nicholas Scott Hurley, age 23 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by punching the victim in the face, causing visible injury. Hurley was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 63152-19

Assault- On November 4, 2019, Dep. Fenwick responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center located in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Charles Vaselee Freeman, age 35 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by pushing the victim. Freeman was charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 63195-19

Trespassing/Fail to Obey Lawful Order- On November 5, 2019, Dep. Shelko responded to a business located in the 21700 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for the reported trespassing. Sergio Rashaad Rice, age 37 of Great Mills, was directed to leave the business by an employee as well as law enforcement. Rice returned to the scene and began leaning on a Sheriff’s Office vehicle and spotlight, causing the spotlight to bend under Rice’s weight. Rice was directed to not lean on the spotlight/deputy’s vehicle and he refused to comply. Rice was arrested and charged with Trespass: Private Property and Fail to Obey Reasonable/Lawful Order.
